Welcome to the UW System Institute for Urban Education. This new program is designed to help preservice teachers follow their desire to become urban educators as well as provide professional development opportunities for currently practicing teachers. We are dedicated to helping urban schools continue to grow the promise of urban youth and to assisting urban teachers as they develop both as teachers and learners.
